Re: Alcoholism leading to health problems?

Well thanks, that is nice to hear ("you're not an alcoholic") I believe there are many different definitions you can place on the term alcoholic. I believe that it, as well as many other disorders (or disease whatever you want to call it) can vary from mild to severe. Maybe you only consider the most severe of cases "alcoholism" unfortunately whatever label you put on it it can still be a problem whether I can quit for 5 weeks at a time or not.

I do think I am an alcoholic to some degree. I have been to the ER every summer for 3 years due to alcohol consumption. When something is affecting your health it is a problem whether you do it daily or not. I guess I am what could be considered a binge drinker. Either way I try to limit myself while still enjoying a simple pleasure now and then.

Glad to have helped you somehow tho. :)
