Alcoholism leading to health problems?

I was wondering if anyone else out there has had alcoholism lead to other health problems?
I have been drinking heavilly for the past 3 years. I never thought it was doing anything bad to my health. I had a high tolerance and I was always more in control than others even though I was always drinking more than them. So I thought that my body could just handle it better than others. It was a big joke and never anything to worry about.

But recently I discovered that I have candida and leaky gut. Now I am realizing that those times I drank way too much were hurting my body. I think I need to do a Liver Flush soon. Has anyone had experiences with that they want to share? I assume for an alcoholic to do a Liver Flush is probably pretty intense.

Has anyone else acquired leaky gut or candida from drinking too much?
