I don't know where you get your information but you are so wrong, there are more than 7 million people with RSD, and no telling how many misdiagnosed people are out there that have it and don't know it. It is the leading cause of missed work in the country (undiagnosed pain)
As for my situation, both me and my husband have it, mine after carpel tunnel surgery 3 years ago. My husband has had his since 98 from a surgery to his knee, His 13th knee surgery BTW!!
As for treatment not much has helped either of us, but we are gonna do the liver and parasite flushes to see if they help, sure can't hurt to try, and alot less expensive than the Oxycontin he is on at $125 a script ( that is our cost after ins)
he has had 1 failed infusion pump and they want to do another one, he had to have it removed because he got infections and the incision wouldnt stay closed.
