I seriously doubt your weight loss will be more than about one pound a day, if that. With fasting there comes a slow down in metabolism, its just a part of how the body works. You can probably lose around 30 pounds, maybe a little more, and that will put you under 200 pounds. In addition you will have cleansed your body so it can get more nutrition from less food. This will aid you in losing more weight and keeping it off.
Fasting is generally not a good way to permanently lose a lot of weight. However, if you insist on fasting, then
The Master Cleanse is probably the best fast to do. You can carefully control the amount of calories you consume (some juice fasts can be quite high in calories). You also get necessary minerals to help you stay healthy, and enough carbohydrates (from the Maple syrup) to be able to stay active. Drink one six to eight ounce glass of fresh carrot juice every day in addition to the lemonade. Raw carrots are a source of anti-inflammatory carotenoids. This will help ease cellular inflammation and decrease the leptin resistance. Also, take six to ten flax oil capsules or one tablespoon flax oil every day the Omega 3 EFAs will also help you deal with cellular inflammation. Finally drink three cups of green tea a day. Green tea contains polyphenols and flavonoids that are powerful antioxidants to sooth inflammation. Add some spices like cinnamon, ginger and cloves to the tea for more anti-inflammation power and also aid in keeping the metabolism from dipping too low. Stay away from psyllium and
Bentonite until you are through with the fast. While the addition of these anti-inflammatory compounds are not a part of the traditional MC, in your case they should help you lose the weight you need to lose and heal your body so it can continue to regulate its weight and become balanced. Sugar even in more complex forms is very inflammatory. Experiment to find the amount that keeps you feeling strong, but don't take too much. If you do feel shakey, just lick a teaspoon of syrup, then add a little more to your next drink.
You can do this, but it may take more time to reach your goals and achieve better health.
