MATTK3 I am having a similar problem with my child although I dont have so many obvious "naked eye" parasite photos as this mom does. I have microscopic photos. How frightening that this is allowed to occur in a developed country. I don't understand why this is happening. why do you say that parasites are a sensitive subject? The testing for ova and parasites have been negative, yet I can see them with my microscope. I finally found a specialty lab that identified only one of the worms as a "round worm" but there are also hookworms. The same thing happened to my dog. The tests are negative but I can see the parasites under my microscope, hookworms, and a tapeworm came out after I treated my dog with the strongest medication that I could find without a vet. I think the tests were negative because of biofilm. When you say the pathologist is the one that is the most knowledgeable, that may be true, but it seems we have a problem. Houston.... we have a problem.... There is a problem. And the negative lab test have something to do with it. What kind of doctor would deny that there is a parasite infection in a child whos mom brought those photos in? Regardless of the test result! We need to get back to doctors who can look under their own microscope because the reliance on lab tests is infuriating. I think this is criminal in nature. Why are the doctors not aware that the ova and parasite testing procedure in this country is flawed? In order to avoid the false negative, you must do a smear of the biofilm. We have to do something about this.
