Perhaps the most graphic example of this truth was revealed in a phone call from a veterinarian who was treating a horse with a serious neck infection. Nothing worked and the horse was expected to die. The vet came across an old medical text that described curing the same kind of infection by inserting a silver dime into the infected area of the horse’s neck.
