Re: Direct response

Possibly also an element of the so-called 'Stockholm Syndrome' in choosing to remain a captive audience for your abusers.

Each to their own, but speaking for myself, I've just about had my fill of toxic posts (ostensibly written by Bible-believers) that are bereft of a single sub-atomic particle of love or grace. I don't view walking away as punishing them either. I view it more as a mutually beneficial act. In fact, I have now virtually stopped reading all posts by 3 boarders - for different reasons. The time saving alone is justification enough for me. There is also something strangely satisfying, empowering even, in seeing their names in the alerts and perfunctorily deleting them without any compunction. Clears out my Inbox in no time at all.

But yes, this hasta be your decision Tansy. By all means listen to your own conscience, meditate on His word, and pray about it. I'm sure you will be guided into all truth.
