If you can tolerate organic pork then it would provide all the amino acids that you would get from individual amino acids but it does need to be digested whereas amino acids do not. Essential amino acids as the name suggest supply the essential amino acids that the body cannot manufacturer but without methionine and cysteine. Therefore you can asses whether they would be helpful.

It depends upon the state of your digestive system and the degree of permeability. Amino acids should not cause any autoimmune problems whereas whole proteins will. If you have "leaky gut" and are getting autoimmune reactions or other reactions to consumed foods then amino acids MIGHT be helpful. Pork will contain some cysteine BTW and methionine with methionine being more than twice as high.

I do suggest that you check for stomach acid as many people are deficient. There is a simple and cheap test that can give some indication of a problem but a professional heidelberg test would be far more accurate. If that shows hypochlorhydria then a urea breath test would be worth doing.

Getting your detox channels working does sound like it would be helpful, I hope that you can sort that out. Not being able to take the amino acids for glutathione production will not help. L-Cysteine, Glycine and Glutamic acid/Glutamine are needed for Glutathione as you probably know.

I did have oral thrush before my problems began but I don't have any evidence of a Candida problem now. If they had managed to colonize the biofilms then maybe my situation would of been different.

I did have slightly elevated liver enzymes until I started pantethine which also lowered my cholesterol. Research that I read did say that it helped liver function.

Tu Si Zi also helps the liver and kidneys and can be helpful to the kidney energy as it tones the kidney and Liver Chi. It can help with anxiety type problems because of it's kidney effects. It could be that herb which has maintained my kidney function so well for about 25 years that I have being taking it as my kidney function is still excellent. I am type 1 diabetic too so maintaining kidney function is very helpful as they are often damaged by diabetes. I have a family history of circulatory disease so anything which helps prevent such problems is beneficial.

BTW essential oils do not dissolve biofilms, they can in some cases destroy microorganisms inside biofilms and affect Quorum sensing which can both prevent organisms from spreading and re-building biofilms. That is why I said that QSI are essential when dealing with biofilms. However enzymes are very helpful as it helps to reduce the resistance that the biofilm causes. Efflux pump inhibitors can also be helpful if suitable ones can be found, because it makes the organisms more vulnerable to antimicrobial substances. Reduced Colloidal Silver is fairly effective and a broad approach at most microorganisms.
