Fasting lowers insulin to near 0. That lets all the receptors in the cells get activated. However when you're eating your own fat, to the tune of 1/2-3/4 lb a day lot of free fatty acids flood your blood stream. These FFA's block the glucose uptake mechanism.
To get the insulin sensitivity for good you need to get rid of the FFA's while you have low insulin.
So I am thinking I need to get to 6-7% BF. That would get me to where my body isn't flooding itself with FFA's and then a few months of a good low fat diet could do it.
I'm still experimenting so I don't know. I'm n uncharted territory. I also am after permanent weight loss, Like I was never fat. That's the general goal I have.
Thanks.
