Inflammation Triggers

Yeowch and everybody else in this thread, the problem you have is an inflammation of the lips which might lead to the chronic peeling lips.

Your condition is most likely caused by a sudden onset of intolerance to something or a sudden onset of allergy to something.

Most people suffering from allergies, are not borne with allergies, but have a sudden onset of allergy at some point in their life.

For women, it may be caused by Antibiotics or by the use or exposure to artificial hormones or IUD (birth prevention ? )

What is that something you are allergic to or you are intolerant of?

That something might be something different for different people, but if we compile a list of all people who identified the main trigger of their inflammation, on top of the list of all triggers is GLUTEN.

Other common triggers are:

- wheat
- other grains like rice, corn, oats, etc...
- milk and milk products
- Sugar added to food
- food preservatives and food additives like nitrates , nitrites , sulfates , benzoates , ...
- SLS
- Cosmetics
- airborne triggers like cat dander and dog dander and pollen and dust mites
- any common house chemicals like laundry detergent or other chemicals used in cleaning ...
- strawberries
- tomatoes
- nuts
- soy
- eggs
- shrimps
- braces
- Mirena IUD
- birth control
etc..

Follow the links below to find a list of people who identified what caused their problem and who solved the problem.
