I see the optimism based on blissful ignorance though and in a huge amount of cases, the result of following false prophets and apostles, such as those leading the NAR/Word of Faith groups. God, according to them, has appointed these apostles and prophets at this time to usher in major revival so they can conquer the world for Christ, with all their new revelations, signs and wonders, etc. and oh what a grand time it will be.
The seven mountains of society will be Christianized, and it will be a grand time of prosperity. There will be great unification, not all this division.
Just can't buy it myself, nope! Especially when I see how it's all supposedly being accomplished, by setting the true gospel aside while false gospels are embraced in the name of unity.

As for Pan-millennialism, I was just joking. I had a pastor that used to say he was a Pan-millennialist, meaning it was all going to pan-out one way or the other. :) God is going to be sovereign whether we get it all figured out or not. But the more truth we can learn, the better. It's good to study these things out, and pray for God to reveal the truth to us.
