That would be quite funny if it wasn't so ironic.....or tragic. Fact is, there is no more advanced western democracy whose population is more enslaved than yours. Your middle class has been virtually eviscerated; multis like McBurger, Amazon & Uber have business models that depend on what are practically slave labour pay rates and conditions; peaceful demonstrations (like Standing Rock, BLM and Occupy) are met with militarised policing that includes attack dogs, pepper sprays and rubber bullets, if not lethal force; your own govt. spies on its own citizens and under PAII can even murder you by executive order without due process; open season unofficially declared on people of colour by police depts that are both institutionally racist and little more than the enforcement arm of Wall St and big business; citizens murdered by their own police or framed for crimes they did not commit on an almost routine basis; you're not allowed to know if your food contains GMO; your children belong to the state until they reach majority age; your land can be seized under eminent domain legislation; your utilities poison you with radiation or contaminated water (or both); your banks can make your savings 'disappear' - just like that - with govt.-backed impunity to boot; zero hour or temporary contracts are practically de rigueur for new entrants into the job market; more whistleblowers prosecuted than ever before whilst your govt. trumpets its 'transparency'; real investigative journalists all but an extinct species; an electoral system that is rotten to the core; a political elite who answer only to big business while denying representation to everyone else .............the list is almost endless.

So this is freedom is it? Well, enjoy what's left of it while it lasts dearie. But by all means still hang onto that gun of yours. It's practically the last vestige of 'freedom' you'll enjoy before they take that away from you too. Remind me again, how did it pan out down there in Wako? Oh yeah, that's right. The Feds always win in the end, don't they?
