New to coffee enemas -- feeling worse

Hi,

I'm dealing with some kind of bacterial infection. Because my system is so overwhelmed and I'm completely intolerant of supplements, my Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome doctor suggested starting off with CE's to try and lighten my immune system's load.

I did my first one yesterday: 3 tablespoons of organic coffee in 4 cups of water. I didn't do a water cleanse before or afterwards. I lay on my right side, knees up, held it for 15 minutes and the whole process was fine. I felt a bit overstimulated that night and had trouble sleeping, but my mood was also good.

Today, I woke up feeling tired, foggy and depressed. I decided to attempt another enema in the evening. Afterwards, I felt 'crashed' .. foggy, depressed, tired, really hungry, sore throat, and my stomach was bloated and distended.

I'm following a Keto diet. I replace electrolytes via salt (sodium/potassium) and am making sure to have almond milk smoothies w/ spinach, kale, chia seeds etc. to replace other nutrients after the enemas.

Is it normal to just feel worse in the beginning due to detox? I will note I was dehydrated when I did tonight's enema, so not sure if that made things worse. Wondering if I should do a water cleanse before/afterwards.

Feeling pretty frustrated since so many report feeling good on the enemas, and my health is so bad and I can't tolerate any other interventions.
