I think they gave Bepanthen at the drugstore to try a couple years ago. Didn't do anything for me. I actually walked into the store with the yellow crusts on but I covered my mouth with my hand and then showed the lady my lips. She just stared with a frightened look at my lips. That's when I knew she didn't have a clue what to give me haha.

No, your lips don't really look inflamed. Do they feel more thick or bigger than usual?

Yeah, when the skin gets wet, it turns white and comes off easier but you shouldn't remove it unless you're applying a moisturizer.

About Aquaphor, some people are allergic to some of the ingredients in there, however It should be fine for the majority of people.
I first started using Aquaphor when I was still in high school and it seemed to help regrow the new skin but since I could only apply it once at home, by the time I got back home the lips already dried out & the skin teared apart. Now I'm back to trying again by applying every hour or so making sure the skin doesn't dry out.

Here's another one claiming to be cured by aqua.
