Re: Sugars, raw food vs. cooked; Omega-3, MCT, ALA, GLA

Hi DL,

I re-read your message and have some questions.

You said......
I would recommend to read, if you haven't done it already, about the good stuff: Omega-3, MCT, ALA, GLA, coconut, avocado and raw nuts, while avoiding all processed oils, especially non-cold-pressed ones, even more so heated above 40 Celsius degree, oils of any kind.

What is MCT, ALA, GLA?
How do we really know if oils are cold pressed. Now a days manufacturers have so many ways to disguise their products by being creative in labeling.

Also is raw honey bad for you? I eat honey everyday.

Good post, I am in the same boat relatives eating breads and highly processed flours and oils.

Thanks,

Archus
