The bacteria and biofilm responsible for Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome are very strong and not affected by common anti biotics, which Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome frequently take. You might of had some effect against them but did not destroy the persister cells and without doing that they will always regrow and be resistant when they do.
