Re: Mastic Gum temporarily ended my CFS, why would it stop working?
Tried Milk thistle, nothing at all happened after weeks and weeks. Same thing for methionine, diatomacious earth, taurine.
Tried some
Liver Cleanses I read about here on curezone but never got any benefit from them.
Far as candida goes I have tried several supplements targeted at it without any reaction; did nystatin for a week without a hint of change either good or bad. No
Sugar cravings. Only thing that would specifically point in the direction of candida is that I'm severely sensitive to alcohol but i suppose there could be other reasons for that since alcohol does systemic damage.
Yeah, I did get a good bit of energy from mastic/NAC when they were working.
Had high biliruben on one of my older test results so there might well be something with my bile production though the undigested matter in my stools is never of the fat/oil variety but rather of the plant type, lots of it to, stools are covered in orange from carrots/sweetpotatoes, in fragments of nuts, in all sorts of plant bits even though I've chewed them thoroughly as can be. Wasn't always like this, I was temporarily healthy twice and in those days my stools never had any undigested bits and they were a moderately dark shade of brown. also, in those days, my nails didn't have ridges on them. Every time i get back into the chronic illness my nails get vertical ridges on them.
Recently found out that a medicine i was put on as a child for ADHD (Tenex) is known for causing CFS, I never had bowel movements when I took it, constipation being another side effect of that same drug, even if that is the cause though I have no idea of how to go about reversing what it may have done. Constipation is a hellish symptom for me, I'd thought that if I could just get my bowels working I'd be well as that is how it worked the past two times I got back to health but that has not been the case this time, the DGL ive been taking has provided me with relief from constipation but things are still all wrong.
