Before taking someone's word that MSM is a heavy metal chelator, I strongly suggest that you check out other opinions on the topic.

For example A Cutler would not describe MSM as a HM chelator. He uses dithiols such as lipoic acid, DMPS and DMSA.

Notice the two SH/thiol groups--mercury magnets-- in lipoic acid positioned to better grab heavy metals such as mercury.

Cysteine and glutathione contain only one SH group.
