Re: New member. Long time sufferer of adrenal issues. Your help would be a godsend.

I see you have a complex case and you've tried lots of things. The following come to mind after reviewing your posts.

"ive tried lithium orotate, and it didn't do much for me. most supplements/medications can provoke anxiety in me. theres only a couple of things that haven't, but they didn't do much overall for my mood/anxiety level."

I wonder if focusing on liver support, especially sulfation and slowing liver Phase I would be a high priority?

There are quite a few members of the Yahoo heavy metal groups that have difficult cases of chem sensitivity MCS. You might do better to chat with them, including Josette--FranceL a mod of Frequent Dose Chelation. That's a support group for those using A. Cutler's heavy metal detox. The sicker members who seem to have a mercury + arsenic problem often have MCS. A number of them have very restricted diets such as only able to eat a dozen foods.

Btw. I'm sure this will sound strange but do you also have any sensitivities to electronic devices such as Wifi antennas, Cell Phone towers, etc?

You'll probably have to adjust your diet. Phenols, salycilates and stimulants could be involved. Some people get a food sensitivity test. Some of the FDC members use this.

Once that is in place I'd focus on support for calming brain chemicals such as GABA. Magnesium is at the top of the list of things to try, probably several times per day. I like the glycinate form best for this in chem sensitive folks but a friend mixes Mg citrate with it. They are better absorbed than the cheap oxide form. Furthermore the glycine and citrate have links to calming effects on the body. They are therefore a better value.

I'm not hearing from you that you will "crash" with fatigue and burnout after a stressful day or two. I probably would not work on the adrenal angle before addressing the other issues, although I could understand if you'd like to lower the cortisol at night.

Eventually you'll probably ask why you have all of these symptoms. When you do so you'll want to consider heavy metals, especially mercury plus arsenic. These are examples.

This young woman recovered more quickly than I would have expected.

A classic example of mercury, maybe plus arsenic or something else in a person too sick to work.

There are plenty of people with your symptoms in the heavy metal detox groups; although it is much more common for them to also have AF. The exceptions are probably the very young adults.

Are you quite young?

Based on your username, might you have picked up something problematic in a chem lab?
