Your post gives me no idea about the size of those things-- they could be microscopic, or 1 mm or bigger. This matters a lot. Grab a microscope if you haven't already done so. You need to view them closely to see whats going on, and try to get photos (a cheap but functional digital microscope is about $65 at Frys). Then you can at least compare what you see with the pics others have posted.

Frank (red) blood accompanying a bowel movement, however, is not a typical morgellons sign, But it can indicate a serious problem. A doc should do a stool sample based on that.
