I thought in the beginning I had morgellons but after dozens of drs visits I was mistakenly given steroids and flagyl by 2 specialists , my diagnosis was strongyloides (threadworm in usa)by a retired family member that was a vet asst and lab tech. my primary care cash dr confirmed this with an elisa blood test for strongyloides. their are several species of strongyloides that can infect us and some might not show in testing as the test targets 1 specific species called strongyloide strecalis. hope this gives you some insight. http://astrologyzine.com/health/parasites-and-worms.shtml this has info on several types of parasitic infections , your symptoms would indicate a roundworm possibly a strongyle or whipworm . the different colors of worms indicates what they are eating, red for blood, black or brown is dried blood or bowel , white is or transparent is their normal color etc etc . I personally believe morgellons is a strongyloide as I proved in many of my posts
