there are 2 fairly new drugs that the FDA hasn't approved to treat parasites in humans. fenbendazole and moxidectin but they have been used for hard to eliminate parasites in animals for several years. so my guess is in another 10 to 20 years they might be renamed(protect big (pharmaceuticals)from losing money on a drug that past its patent date. one great example of fda protecting big pharma is using ivermectin for leukemia as requested by the hematological people. http://www.bloodjournal.org/content/116/18/3593?sso-checked=true here is a possible cancer drug for children and adults that is extremely cheap (no patent and mass produced) but still no testing as requested by experts in the field of blood.
