Anyone tried it?
Just trying to increase my arsenal of weapons. Don't want to be dealing w/a chronic infection anymore
My theory is that while on something like albendazole, worms are less likely to scatter and just exit the body eventually
I've been too afraid to try it. Part of me thinks it could help, part of me thinks it may make it worse.

This is a reply to # 2,235,125Something I've wondred before. I think it would have a stronger effect against the parasites but as to if it would help more overall or not I have no idea. It's too bad the U.S. medical system isn't putting billions into studying this but I'd guess there are some people researching new meds against these things.

I'm sure there has been independent research into developing new parasite drugs, but most funding has no doubt been suppressed. They don't want us better at all for many reasons.
I have a friend in the field whom I asked this question to. He said it sounded like a good idea but admitted that the medical field itself often makes it sound easier to rid oneself of parasites than it actually is. Especially in the US. It is a lot of guess work.- Re: Conspiracy SHARKMAN

This is a reply to # 2,235,475there are 2 fairly new drugs that the FDA hasn't approved to treat parasites in humans. fenbendazole and moxidectin but they have been used for hard to eliminate parasites in animals for several years. so my guess is in another 10 to 20 years they might be renamed(protect big (pharmaceuticals)from losing money on a drug that past its patent date. one great example of fda protecting big pharma is using ivermectin for leukemia as requested by the hematological people. http://www.bloodjournal.org/content/116/18/3593?sso-checked=true here is a possible cancer drug for children and adults that is extremely cheap (no patent and mass produced) but still no testing as requested by experts in the field of blood.- Re: Conspiracy Cimber38

This is a reply to # 2,235,674Here is another thought also. Many of these drugs treat cancer and increase the effectivness of chemotherapy. They make big money on cancer.

This is a reply to # 2,235,125I have taken plenty of ivermectin and albendazole. I don't know where I would be if not for such a great protocol(thank you again ICU). one thing about parasites is they can breed just as fast as they die, they can hibernate (L3 larvae for years)(STRONGYLOIDES). So if you are nervous about taken these drugs I would recommend looking at endoscopy for parasites on you tube and when you see what damage parasites can do to your intestines you might change your mind. also if you dare look at these videos you will find out parasites wasn't what the endoscopy was for. One I seen was for crohns disease but parasites were everywhere. and another one that stood out was for cancer and once again parasites were everywhere.

And Ivermectin is a short acting version of Moxidectin
Cross resistance is probable, correct me if I'm wrong
I took some herbs today while albendazole, second guessing continuing tomorrow because it does rile them up. I'm not sure if its good or bad
Don't know what to do these days for chronic infections

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,235,759The same reason we have different Antibiotics some work better than others for different infections. moxidectin and fenbendazole kill parasites in multiple larvae stages that abenza and ivermectin don't. moxidectin is like ivermectin but much stronger and for serious infections in animals moxidectin is NOT what you start off with. Thats why ICUS protocol is safe and effective. But now that I have my infection down to a minimum I started taking fenben. after a few series of fenben I will try moxidectin . As sick as I was after steroids and the extremely high worm burden moxy or fenben might have been to strong killing too many worms at one time causing septic shock. fenben is what my farm doc wanted me to switch to but only after I had my worm burden to a minimum. fenben is strong but moxidectin is the strongest (according to farm doc) and should never be used in serious parasitic infections but once the serious infection is controlled this is what doc switches to(fenben 1st and moxy 2nd).

Albendazole is pretty strong, and systemic, as I understand it. It's supposed to work on all stages. If I've taken many courses of Albendazole why would a drug in the same class, Fenbendazole, work better? It's supposed for the gut only and I understand it to be the weakest one in the class, weaker than Mebendazole
Am I understanding this right?
About moxidectin, is that really safe for the liver, kidneys, etc? I know the half life is extremely long

I did ICUS protocol almost to the letter for 7 months and have kept control to a minimum. the advice I got was from a farm vet on treating the encysted EL3 AND L3 larvae. the 1st link was from farm vet and the 2nd I saved from another post from someone on curezone about moxidectin in human studies.

This is a reply to # 2,235,961I had taken a huge huge year break from all drugs but recently:
I've done 3 2-week rounds of Albendazole between September and December 2014. I waited a month and a half to restart, still doing some other medicines in between, got my annual check up etc, and im on day 16 of another Albendazole course. I had hit or miss results and it was actually the first time I saw results from the drug in the many times ive tried it. Im not sure why exactly. I had about 2-3 days all weeks separate that I had a BM of worms. Im not complaining :)
I was planning to do another 3 rounds but this time for 1 month each max. Maybe 21 days. I was considering just doing the normal 14 day courses again but I foolishly took herbs yesterday and I had some scattering. Quickly coming under control already being on Albendazole.
I'm debating staying on the month courses or stopping after 21 days. What does everyone think? I don't understand how it would cause resistance, as right when I go off the 2 week course they immediately start acting up. Isnt resistance caused by stopping too soon rather than staying on it?
I don't know, feedback would be appreciated. Im getting nitazoxanide to take on albenza breaks as ICU suggested
Id like to try fenbendazole but I heard its the weakest one. Moxidectin sounds like a last resort. Maybe after a long long break from everything

This is a reply to # 2,236,014I did valbazen 3 weeks on 1 week off in beginning of treatiment but I did skip a few days so I really did 14 to 18 doses per month. then I was on a really strict schedule 2 weeks on 1 week off. I did ivermectin about 2 days on 1 day off for first month sometimes everyday depending how I felt but a had it really bad (strongyloides on steroids). I am more worried about the worms destroying my liver than the parasite meds. My last full blood count was fine. When I was sick before antiparasitics my blood count was all over the place and different everytime they ran it. taking ivermectin and albendazole at same time with Antibiotics as outlined in ICU'S protocol was my key to a slow but steady recovery,and now that I have them under control killing the L3 larvae is the key to a normal life without worrying about them coming back again and again and again.

This is a reply to # 2,235,855The half life of moxidectin makes me hesitant to use it. It sounds pretty strong but I think I'll probably try fenbendazole soon. I'm not sure how it can help with a systemic infection but seem people seem to think it helps. Also saw something that it can work on lung flukes so maybe it can effect a little more than the gi tract.

This is a reply to # 2,235,970I have liver flukes and I used moxidectin. I do not think it was wise at all. Because all the liver flukes detached at once, and I had symptoms of shock which I think was from internal blood loss. So if you have liver flukes (that attach to blood vessels and suck your blood) not such a great idea. Get rid of the liver flukes first.

This is a reply to # 2,236,007Frankly I think you should focus on flukes before anything else. As that is what is most draining as they suck your blood. If you truly have liver flukes that is (fasciola hepatica or gigantica).
