Yes, even small amounts of iodine, even in the form of kelp can for some have a seemingly devastating effect. As little as 150 mcg, which is the RDA, what we should get from food daily.
What we have seen at this forum; is when one take enough of it, like 100 mg, one overcome this hurdle. Not always, some need less, other need way more. This is what we try to bring forth; not the discussion, debate; but the up and downs of supplementation.
The kids I gave iodine, no bad reaction at all. Except for a few temper tantrums, an eruption or two. All doing well at the moment:)
The adults; more difficult, as several of them was on medication, and their health had declined, maybe too much for one element to fix. A few gave up, found the detox too hard. Went back to pain medication.
