I'm feeling great - had an awesome workout, day 3 but I just caved in about a 1/2 an hour ago on 3 prune, 2 ritz crackers and a cashew (must be the crunchy munchy sensation?). So, guess what? Day 1 just started allover again. I'm saving your message about caving in though because it is so-o true.
I am in this for the weight loss. I know, I know - the guys w/ seniority on this board are getting frustrated as they read this and you know what? I am desperate to lose weight, I admit that I am human (hence the caving in), and even though Sr. Pepe said he wasn't referring to me (M), he did mention cackling desperates a couple of time - I feel that I must point out that being that I am neither goose nor gosling, I do not cackle. JK.
Seriously, being overweight can initiate a myriad of health issues which is why I am trying this along with my new exercise program ( I am doing circuit training thru Curves - love it!). So for me, short term goal... lose weight, feel comfortable in my skin and be healthy. Long term goal...adhere to healthy lifestyle and exercise which will be advantageous not only to me but to my family because guess what? Mommy's not making 2 separate dinners - they'll be stuck with whatever I'' be making. This is going to be interesting because I'm Peruvian, my hubby's persian and we love food, we both love to cook for the families - it's a family thing- La familia! One thing that will never leave our diet is ceviche- plenty of peppers and lime juice... hey, that sounds familiar... no wonder I love this lemonade!
Lotus, a couple of things I noticed - my contacts seem dry (we are remodeling - that could be the reason) and a couple of pimples are sprouting here and there on my face, you too? Me energy level is way up so I feel good. Got some parties and social engagements coming up - I just need to get past the first 3 days! Wish me luck this time around!!
