Some fellow from India posted on a forum somewhere that many Indian families de-worm themselves twice a year.
Children are ministered to from the cradle to get a jump on it and ministered to throughout nuclear familial life.

In the U.S. once upon a time not that very long ago families knew about these things as well. Castor Oil.

What happened to erase this former knowledge, preventative care, here in the states has been a subject of musing on this website.
