I've always liked niacin, and yes, I usually get the flush. I'm on 1500 mg. along with other supplements before bed. I've heard it is a mild growth hormone releaser. No, I don't get jittery/energetic, just very warm and prickly skin, which passes in short order. I scratch myself to calm the prickliness and that feels good. :)
I take brewer's yeast tablets and sometimes desiccated liver tabs or capsules for B complex, aside from the B2 and niacin. They are antistress - Adelle Davis had that right.
