Re: cold a symptom of iodine detox, sole for salt loading?
My own supplements library has filled two drawers and a small cardboard box. I lay the most important bottles on their sides so I can see the labels clearly, but I went after little copper thumbscrew-containers with airtight lids (made paper linings and compartments so I could sort and label the contents) to make a 'kit' for myself. I use the train back and forth to school, etc, every day.
I had some experiences today too that took some every away. I decided to liquid fast for at least a day, so low energy, but it really helps sort out priorities. And imagining a big lion walking beside me, that I could rest my hand in his mane, really helped with throwing away the stress-thoughts. :)
Do you think one can develop a tolerance to niacin? sometimes it makes me flush, but sometimes not. I haven't taken to the 500mg niacin 100mg riboflavin though,
My last experience with a niacin flush had me barfing and having to lay down at a friend's house. x.x
I take niacin and riboflavin at about 100mg/30mg, 2x a day after breakfast and dinner. I figure B-vits are best about a half hour after meals, since that's when your digestive track should be releasing them naturally.
Do you get all jittery-energetic on niacin..? I do not find a boost of energy, but more.. prickly skin, heart going faster, a bit of .. hmm.. insecurity? It's been over 15 years without proper detoxing.
Love my daily candex though >:) (wonder if that statement is going to bite me in the arse some time..? )
