My Uncle Jim was a cotton farmer up in North Mississippi---had 300 acres of cotton. He and his wife, my beloved Aunt Doris, raised 5 children on that farm and never had a dime of health insurance on any of them. They survived.

(They also built a beautiful home paying cash---building a little at a time as they could afford. They never had one credit card....paid cash for everything. They ate what they grew.

I do admire your courage...so I say go for it.
