Re: Conductivity in Salt units..
All by itself, (without looking at how much in this food or that)
we're talking about like 1.5 to 1.5 TABLESPOONS of salt per day, are we not?
This really helped me. A LOT. This one post of yours.
That one summer I thought I was getting too much salt, again, I probably wasn't getting enough WATER to go along with that salt.
I can still hear my old nutritionist's voice:
It's NOT that you're getting too much salt, you're NOT getting ENOUGH of [something else] to go along with said salt.
That time it was potassium.
That summer I talked about above it was water.
I was craving split/pea soup again. Instead of making it, I just heat a can of Progresso.
(Yeah, I know I should make it myself)
Anyway, I added a wh ole teaspoon of salt to it.
I went from being tired (still taking a lot of
SSKI ) to being HELLO! as soon as I was done eating.
THAT was a very nice change.
After giving my meal some time to digest I had a very big glass of good water...with 1/4 teaspoon of salt in it.
I felt so good; like, "NOW we're gettin' somewhere!"
