The assumption during Satan's oil spill aka BP disaster was that eventually if unhindered bacteria would decay the spill. Then tons of 'Cor[e]Exit' was dumped to stop that.

Now in a non Demon Haunted world one would think enough bacteria exists that all Sea Water has enoiugh life in it to turn all inorganic content organic by digesting it.

However, I have now read several pieces on organic Silica that suggests that once Sea water is evaporated past a certain point even Silica turns back into inorganic matter. In short the same glass of Sea Water that would have supplied organic Silica now supplies sand.
Just to use Silica and go no further in this discussion, this now makes Silica not only unavailable to the human body but detrimental..
