Dave- Yes I can relate totally! The chronic infections have been very tough for me as well. I have to stay on top of the biofilm.
The mebendazole is Vermox. It works well in the gut only. It is very poorly absorbed in the liver so it is a good place to start. I know they sometimes put lots of other additives in it as well. The generic one I get in Mexico doesn't contain these additives as far as I can tell or maybe they are just not listed in the ingredients. Who knows?
Have you ever tried taking digestive enzymes before bed on an empty stomach? The NOW Super enzymes have enough proteolytic enzymes to kill worms and break up biofilm. This really helped me when the load was high. I still take them to manage the bilfilm.
