Re: Acne - Tried Candida Diet, Hulda Clark Liver Cleanse, Benzoyl Peroxide, Antibiotics + More
The body's endocrine system is extremely complex and there are so many different hormones that interact in different ways. Ayurveda doesn't focus on this too much, they correct the underlying energy imbalances and the entire endocrine system is repaired. If you want to try this approach, see a specialist and ask them tons of questions. Before you go, do a little research about the three main body types, air, water, fire just so you can understand what they are saying. I don't know if every ayurvedic practitioner you go to will really be properly trained, just like visiting a naturopathic doctor, some can be great and others don't have a clue. If they are certified by NAMA (national ayurvedic medical association) they should be okay. In my opinion, ayurveda is the only form of natural medicine that is worth much of anything. The idea of naturopathic medicine is great but it seems like they still have no clue how to correct underlying balances and repair the body's digestion and other organ systems at their root. Everyone is treating the things on the surface like candida, parasites, lyme, etc., and sometimes you can clear these up with proper herbs but most people will need to repair from the bottom up, repair the nervous system, the immune system, etc., then all other infections will also be repaired. This is the only way that makes sense to me and this is what ayurveda does.
