this is why martin was killed. he was a voice of reason that the system had to listen to. the message he was preaching when he died was one of hope and of not allowing the very thing you described. if he had not been killed, i think this country would be owned and run by blacks and be a whole lot better off. instead we have the likes of the terminator. this says more to me about our country than just about anything that has happened in my lifetime. if katrina had happened in 65 instead of 05, by 66 there would be a brand new new orleans and a new respect for people of color would have emerged. we triewd to take our country back in the 60s only to have it murdered in cold blood before our eyes and the perps get away scotch free and take over the place.
