I do not think you comprehend the point of the article.

The point of the article was that some doctors do not follow drug safety guidelines. Past studies have shown long-term use of steroids not to be safe. Since then, some doctors have prescribed steroids long term without any complaints from patients, but that does not mean no damage has been done. What it means is more studies need to be done on patients who take steroids longterm. Overall, the point is doctors should not be prescribing steroids long term like they are...until more safety studies are done. Tweet
