I ordered this for my son but we havent gotten it yet - I emailed the website about dermatoligists sayin not to use steroids long term - will let you know what they say - but the faqs dont say any problems reported

Will Dr. Dan’s Cortibalm make my lips thinner?

No. There is no evidence that routine use of 1% hydrocortisone will cause thinning of the lips or major side effects associated with the use of stronger steroids. 1% hydrocortisone is classified as a mild steroid that has very limited side effects even with routine use. Since Cortibalm's release into the market there has not been any customer issues concerning this problem.

Can I use Dr. Dan’s Cortibalm on a daily basis?

Yes. We do recommend using Dr. Dan's Cortibalm 2 to 3 times daily until lips are healed. However, we have a number of people that use Dr. Dan's Cortibalm on a daily basis because it keeps their lips soft and smooth. We have never had any customer issues or reported side effects due to the use of Cortibalm for an extended period of time.
