The dermatologist I saw a couple weeks ago also told me not to use hydrocortisone long term. I would only use steroid cream for 1 week while on my lips heal on 100% gluten-free diet. But not longer than that.

Most doctors do not have time to study all the side effects. Most of them promote drugs because they are taught to prescribe drugs. I am sure there is a safer remedy out there.
