Re: A great article about being a former vegan and making changes
@ Faith110 (and also @ wired),
guys, you mentioned that you support PETA.
Well, I don't know how to tell you this, but you may want to seriously check out what's going on with PETA's activities.
My husband and I used to support it but at some point something just didn't feel right, something was really off with everything about PETA. I am very critical and like to question many things and check for myself instead of simply buying everything I hear.
So, I trusted my instincts and started digging into PETA's reports, reviews and other info. I found disgusting horrifying stuff about PETA and I will never support it again. PETA actually kills animals AND gets your money, support and compassion. Plus, PETA supports animal vaccination... there is nothing humane about that.
I believe PETA preys on people's feelings of compassion and vegans mostly.
just google PETA kills animals and you will see endless reports, reviews, etc

PETA was a really sad disappointment... We switched to donating to Organic Consumers Association instead. at least they are clean according to all reports and trying to provide organic food resources for tomorrow.
we adopted a stray cat last year, she is doing great. I'd rather invest some buck in our cat's real food instead of donating it to pay off somebody killing homeless animals.
please, research info about PETA and see for yourself.
