Re: The pharisees lacked discernment too.
Hello old friend,
I know you want your ears to be tickled, but i'll just stick to sharing the words of the Lord Jesus which is to say that i will continue telling the truth, no matter how much you and the other flesh immersers reject it. The way you speak to me so clearly echoes the way the religious leaders spoke to my Lord, but spiritual blindness is unfortunately a powerful delusion in you and in many others in this place. Fasting should be off limits in a biblical forum, right? Why do you suppose that there are over 70 references to fasting in the bible? Why do you imagine that the Lord Jesus, Elijah and Moses each fasted 40 days? At the transfiguration of my Lord, which two men came from heaven to visit Him?
Matthew 17:17 "Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him."
You are as a toddler in your understanding of the bible, so you really should learn about it much much more, understanding it by the Spirit before you attempt to teach about what it says. I am sorrry my friend, but it is you that is not living as the Lord Jesus taught His followers to live. Read carefully the gospel of John and the gospel of Matthew and you will very clearly see that the way the Lord is calling His followers to live is in no way how you are living. Is this perhaps because you are not really His follower? When you say, "Lord, Lord", will He let you in or will He say,
Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Matthew 7:23
And then I will DE CLARE to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Are you doing the will of the Father my friend? Are you not practicing lawlessness? My recommendation to you is that you read the words of my Lord Jesus with your whole heart and live them.
As to the other forum, you appear to have no understanding whatsoever as to what it is to be led of God as i am every day. Many blessings old friend. You can do this and i will continue praying that you begin to have eyes to see and that you make it into heaven through actually embracing the risen Lamb of God as Savior and Lord, dying to your flesh, abiding in Him as a branch to the Vine, filled with and led by the Holy Spirit, living holy unto Him and unto the Father through the Son as empowered only by the Holy Spirit.
