ibinns. if you think this is an infection why don't you get a biopsy. i got a deep tissue biopsy so that even if it was deep in the lip it would be detected. but based on most peoples results from their biopsys and use of antifungals and antibacterials i do not think this is an infection for most. if it was I think it would be much easier to diagnose. infection is usually one of the first things people try and i have yet to hear someone who is diagnosed with an infection causing this. most just have secondary infection. but that doesn't mean it won't work for some. but it's easy to test for and try to treat.
