I got the book "The Healing Codes" out of library. I've been practicing the 1 healing code in the book as well as the 10-second method to interrupt a stress reaction for about 3 weeks now.

Like many of the rest of the posters here, I don't know why the cost is so high for the program. But, fortunately for me, it seems I don't need the program.

The healing code method in the book is having far reaching affects on my emotional reactions, calming them down. My body is more relaxed without the stress hormones circulating in it because fight or flight response isn't getting automatically triggered as much. And I'm in what is ordinarily quite a stressful situation for me.

The only 2 things in the healing code instructions that I adhere to is the locations on the head and the number of times per day - 1 - 3 times.

I don't use a prayer in the process. Instead, I simply figure that performing the healing code process automatically generates the opposite frequency of the stressful thought I am working with, cancelling it out. Or appears to do this. The authors said the healing code causes the negative emotions to be cancelled, but I didn't automatically believe it - just experimented to see what would happen. I was shocked at the change. It blew me away. The authors DO APPEAR TO BE RIGHT - at least in my case. Or at least they offer an idea about what is really happening that appeals to me. But I don't know why it would do this, if it in fact does do it. I just know the emotional reactivity in me seems to be getting cleaned out.

I don't rate the emotion or stressful thought. Too much of a bother lol.

I also don't try to find images from the past and focus on them. I just put my attention in the present emotion showing up and ask myself, if this emotion could speak, what would it say?
usually, it's "I'm not good enough" or "I can't", etc. I just repeat the statement mentally while doing the code and focusing on the emotion in my body.

Sometimes the emotion is quite intense, and I'll cry. But I stick with the process and at the end feel like the emotion has been washed away out of my body. And that just focusing on the emotion without doing the codes doesn't seem as far reaching as when the healing code process is added.

I also don't keep my fingers within a particular distance, but allow my hand placement to move in whatever position feels right at the moment.

I don't keep track of the timing. Again, too much of a bother.

I don't know how the healing code will work for anyone else. I'm just posting my experience with the suggestion to any interested reader to see if your local library has the book. If it does, check it out and play with the code yourself. What have you got to loose?
