I too have the same hunger when on paleo diet; protein and veggies. Onwards might have a point on this with the body trying to get used with the diet. I can't function with less than 100 g carbs (more or less).
I am not yet on NB so from time to time I cheat on diet or else I have a megahunger. Funny thing - usually I felt that hunger on the right upper abd and always thought are parasites/bacteria or candida screming for. Theresa Vernon put on her site it might be something with insulin and stuff - might worth to read the diet on her website. She suggested proteins and more fat?
I want to help with some cooking ideas but i'm just a beginner on this ;).
