Hi Marie- Reducing carbs can cause a bit of a carb withdrawal. High carb food are very addictive especially gluten. Your body will put up a little fight at first. I try and keep my carbs around 100gms per day. These can be tracked using

The trick for me is to make sure I eat enough carbs. I don't feel the best if I go below 50gms per day. This allows me to eat a huge lunch salad, plenty of cooked veg at supper and one fruit per day. If you are getting hungry add more veg. My plate is usually 3/4 veg with some protein. I try and keep my protein around 60gms per day. I also use butter, olive oil and coconut oil for dressing and cooking.
Reducing the high carb foods like bread, potatoes, pasta, pizza with veg will also be cutting calories. If you are burning more than you are eating this will cause that feeling of hunger.
I do very well on this paleo diet. This totally corrected the blood
Sugar problems I was having. My ca/mg ratio has been almost ideal the last 2 tests.
