I don't really trust the GTT. The doc that did it to me said you have to go 24 hrs of only protein and no carbs for the test to be accurate. It sucked.

Just use a glucose monitor 15 min after a meal, 2 hrs, 4 hrs if you can go that long without eating, and first thing in the morning upon rising for a couple of days before attempting a juice fast or change of diet just to see where you are at. If your Sugar is never going below range, or hardly below range, especially during your morning test, you have toxic hunger. Dr. Fuhrman seems to think toxic hunger is the true cause of reactive hypoG if one does test for that, so just be aware of that because that will be cured to one off a high protein & fat diet long enough.

Pricking your finger with the new style lancets hardly hurts. The anxiety before attempting it for the first time is the only thing that really hurts!
