It's a private lab and they are quite serious (Brazil has public labs). Labion is a little more expensive for Brazilian standards. IIRC the price was $44.01 (US dollars) - R$90 (Brazilian reais). It's not alternative testing as in alternative medicine. The real cost is going to be the trip.
