Was there something in particular that seemed to make you feel better the most ?. Maybe the acid supplements ?.
What worries me is that I've been gluten free , nut free , dairy free , even fish free for nearly a year and I still feel terrible. All I eat is veg and chicken and have a zero Sugar diet. I was low carb for a long time but I feel better eating them. Despite all of this I'm still suffering from all of the same symptoms.
I'd be terrified to take Antibiotics now since I'm positive they're what made me ill in the first place , altering my gut flora substantially and probably causing a candida overgrowth. Seeing as though this wasn't the case for yourself they might help you , it might be best to mention it to your doctor.
If you're going to take them though I'd definitely recommend taking a probiotic for a while after them.
