Now you state that the origin of adrenal exhaustion is stress, and from what I understand you to mean is PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS.

And that is where I disagree. It is a physical disease that causes you to feel stress and anxiety that ultimately if not treated will result in adrenal exhaustion and then on to depression. The physical stress is caused by excess adrenaline, a hormone that feeds the brain with energy when it is starved of energy as a result of (one possible cause among many others) hypoglycemia.
Going on a hypoglycemic diet will resolve h problem in most cases.
