Re: Your Hypoglycemia may not be Hypoglycemia, but Toxic Hunger!
Are you still feeling awful everyday, or only when you go long time without eating, as most people would?
To check if you're hypoglycemic, get a glucose meter (Target brand is the cheapest and works good) and check your blood about 2 hours after eating, or especially when you feel awful. These should be your numbers:
Under 70 mg/dl is considered low/hypo.
Between 90-110 mg/dl is considered healthy range.
Over 130 mg/dl is considered high/hyper.
If you're feeling awful and you numbers are over 70, you're most likely not hypoglycemic and if they are not sky high (diabetic), you probably have toxic hunger.
When I went on my veggie juice fast, my glucose was always normal, so I knew I had toxic hunger and not hypoglycemia.
