I tried to be clear in my initial post that I didn't go vegetarian after my temporary veggie juice fast to get out of toxic hunger. My meals since have been about 10% protein and I'll be slowly increasing that amount to a max of about 30% of my meals when I feel my liver and kidneys have detoxified enough.
I've heard from various diet experts that don't make your meals more than 30% protein, so that why I'm choosing that percentage. Of course I'll be trying to do a better job at listening to my body.
