Re: Or Excess Copper?

Something else, our well water leaves a green/blue ring on all of our sinks. I read that can be an indicator of copper. Too much copper can lead to a zinc deficiency.

Yes, copper and zinc are antagonists to each other.  High levels of one will displace the other.

The green would be from copper salts.  Parts of the country such as Bisbee, Arizona have high copper levels in the soil.

So that may be a possibility of what is contributing to my problems.

I don't even have the money or resources to have it tested or for any kind of water treatment device. Although we do have a simple filter underneath the house. I wonder if there is a filter that absorbs copper?

A reverse osmosis will remove copper, but whole house systems are quite expensive.
